Wimbledon RFC gets a helping hand to celebrate 150 years

Wimbledon RFC is one of the founder members of the Rugby Football Union and is preparing for one of its most important seasons yet, as they look forward to celebrating their 150th anniversary.

We began working with the executive committee last summer to look at new opportunities, refine their sponsorship proposition and establish a new creative vision, crowned with a bespoke anniversary club badge and visual style to carry their communications for the next 12 months.

The double-headed eagle and hornet have also been redrawn, giving the emblem a bit more 'bite', whilst creating a badge that can be reproduced consistently across a range of merchandise. Other initiatives have begun to roll out including an exclusive offer for Club members, a monthly e-newsletter, club handbook, various events and the Club's festival programmes.

As we continue to work with the Club, this year will see us turn our attention to the forthcoming anniversary match with Richmond RFC and the build up to the Rugby World Cup.
