Challenge

Victory Place is a quiet residential development located on the Limehouse Basin and a short walk from Canary Wharf. Built in 1990 at the height of the Docklands regeneration, it was now sitting alongside newer properties.

With a new management team in place the time was right to give the development its first real identity and create a sense of place, making this established development attractive to potential buyers and tenants and foster a sense of greater sense of community for residents.

Solution

The new identity picked up some of the most recognisable architectural details, such as the balconies, windows, grills and of course, its proximity to the water. To create a family feel we created a number of variants for marketing the overall development, identifying the Management Company and an endorsement to work on the property signage.

As part of a major refurbishment plan, we developed a colour palette informed by the landscaping, which brought variety and warmth to the public areas with graphic patterns applied as decals to the interiors of each house as well as the concierge office.

We also developed a series of booklets for launch and a website to act as a hub for residents where they could access all the relevant management news, policies, services and accounts as well as features such as Resident Recommended – a list of traders used by owners and tenants. It also includes local information about living in Limehouse and will eventually showcase properties for sale or rent.
